Naturally Embracing Earth's Medicine
How Neem Began
My journey began after massage therapy school, when a deeper calling took hold, a need to understand healing at its roots. That calling led me to travel through Central America and beyond, spending time with the medicine men and women who have cared for their villages and communities for generations using nothing but natural, herb-based remedies.
What started as a search for knowledge became something bigger to me: a responsibility. I saw how invaluable these healing traditions are, and how many are at risk of being lost. That realization sparked something in me, a drive not just to learn, but to teach and help these practices continue, be honored, and reach the people who need them.
That's also why I source everything myself. I believe pure, wild, potent herbs start with presence and being there, in person, to see where and how they grow, and to make sure what I bring to you is honest to its origin.
At the heart of it all is joy, the joy of connecting traditional wisdom with the modern world, and sharing that bridge with you.
"I started Neem after my own journey to the tropics brought me closer to traditional ways of healing. The teas, tonics, oils, and remedies passed hand to hand for generations deserve to be honored, preserved, and taken seriously & not repackaged as a trend."
Jazmyn, Founder of Neem
What We Stand For
- Wildcrafted, Not Farmed — Every leaf and root is gathered from where it grows wild, never monocropped.
- Small-Batch, Always — We make what we can source responsibly — never more, never rushed.
- Fair, Direct Trade — We pay harvesters directly and fairly — no middlemen between the land and you.
- Ancestral Knowledge — Recipes and methods passed down through generations, not invented in a lab.
Where It Comes From
Jamaica — Sun-dried neem, moringa, leaf of life and purple sea moss, wildcrafted island-side.
La Moskitia, Honduras — Home of raw Batana oil, hand-pressed by Miskito harvesters using ancestral methods.
Mexico — Gordolobo and soursop leaf, rooted in traditional Mexican herbalism.
"We're not chasing a wellness trend. We're keeping a promise to the land, and to the people who taught us how to listen to it."
